Valfaris, a heavy metal infused 2D action-platformer, is set in a far corner of space and is the latest game from the team behind Unity awards finalist, Slain: Back from Hell. Prepare yourself for brutal combat, deadly enemies, stunning pixel art, and a savage soundtrack as you get ready to tear the galaxy a new wormhole.

The fortress of Valfaris had mysteriously vanished from galactic charts, but it has now reappeared in the orbit of a dying sun. Once a self-contained paradise, the citadel now harbors an ever-growing darkness. Therion, a fearless and proud son of Valfaris, returns home to uncover the truth behind its doomed fate and to challenge the arcane evil at its core.

Players can savagely reduce foes to piles of gibs with an array of brutal weaponry, dominate ranks of deadly enemies and bosses, and gorge their eyes on devastating pixel art hand-crafted by Andrew Gilmour. They can also feel the power of a seismic soundtrack by extreme metaller and former Celtic Frost guitarist, Curt Victor Bryant, and explore a diverse range of tainted environments as they venture deeper into the dark world of Valfaris.
